“Registry Ridge in Fort Collins was quite simply the ideal entrée we’ve been looking for into northern Colorado.” That’s Lokal Homes land acquisition manager, Matthew Napier describing his company’s basis for its progression into the region, a recent purchase of 74 homesites in the established community in Larimer Country.
Located in southwest Fort Collins, Registry Ridge is known for its convenience to Colorado State University as well as Horsetooth Reservoir. It enjoys Front Range views, open space and amenities like a pool, clubhouse, tennis and basketball courts. Lokal plans on breaking ground within the next couple months, its first home closings slated for year’s end. Registry Ridge is located just west of Hwy 287 and south of Trilby Road.
“In addition to really liking the community itself, we see the market as somewhere the Lokal brand can truly shine,” added Napier. “The builders in the area are generally not the big volume players you find in metro Denver, so the homes can stay consistent with the quality and craftsmanship we’ve built our company on.” He also pointed to the area’s burgeoning high tech boom and ongoing need for affordable homes as further rationale for Lokal’s expansion.
Until now, Lokal Homes’ communities have been located from Colorado Springs and Monument in the south, to Aurora in the east, Littleton and Westminster in the west and Commerce City in the north.
“Of course we’re always looking ways to expand our brand, but this provided just the right scope for us,” said Napier. “Everything we do, we do with an eye on sustainability. We want to grow smartly and solidly so that we’re not just selling as many homes as possible, we’re also contributing to building community. We see that as our legacy.”
Napier says that Lokal will offer traditionally styled single family and paired homes priced approximately from the mid $300s to mid $400s, the new designs representing a departure from what the company offers elsewhere. “Of course homeowners can anticipate the same level of finish and quality that put us on the map,” he said. All Lokal homes are built with sustainable, low-maintenance features, including James Hardie cement siding and architectural stone, dual-pane vinyl windows and high-efficiency furnaces and are backed by a highly rated Three Peaks Warranty.
In addition to Registry Ridge, Lokal also has future communities on tap in Monument, Highlands Ranch, Westminster and Aurora. To join the interest list, contact Hope Pexton at (720) 656-4512.
