Builders Doing Amazing Things – Lokal Homes Amplifies Community-First Approach

For so many builders, these challenging times are the perfect opportunity to amplify the values that have been part of their DNA from the beginning. One great example of this is Colorado builder, Lokal Homes.

Philanthropy and community-based giving has been at the heart of the Lokal brand from the beginning. The builder donates money with every closing to Brent’s Place, a “Safe-Clean” housing facility for Children’s Hospital Colorado and to The Challenge Foundation, which helps students break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities. They are building on this community-first approach in their recent campaigns and social media initiatives.

Recognizing that the food and beverage industry is hard hit during these times, Lokal is highlighting local restaurants through their social media channels and encouraging their community residents to support curbside pickup or delivery options. A great example of supporting other local businesses throughout the community.

Lokal also has a program specifically designed to support their “Home Town Heroes”. This initiative offers those that “protect us, keep us safe, teach us, and serve our country,” a credit to use towards options on their new home. Right now, they recognize that these groups are working harder than ever and are increasing the credit to $2500.

During these challenging times it is so great to see so many businesses pivot and adapt to the changing new home landscape.
