Lokal Homes Gives Back to Our Local Communities

This year has been without a doubt a very different and challenging year for all. While we have had to change many things about how we operate this year, we are always committed to our promise of bettering our local communities by giving back.

We had a strong third quarter that allowed us to donate $9,750 to both Brent's Place and Challenge Foundation. We donate $250 to each amazing foundation for every single home we close.

The holiday season is one of our favorites of the year because we are able to double down on our efforts to help the incredible families at Brent's Place and Challenge Foundation. 

Every year, our sales team adopts a family from Challenge Foundation. This year our team had so much fun shopping for our family with 5 boys! 

Our sales team was able to work together to bring Christmas to life for a hard working and deserving family. 

Together we were able to check off everything on the family's wish list, including some much needed gifts for the entire family to enjoy. 

We also have a feeling we will be seeing this family out rocking some Lokal Homes gear this winter! 

In addition to adopting a family from Challenge Foundation, we try to jump in where we can for the families at Brent's Place. You can imagine they have faced even greater challenges this year with all of the families staying there being very high-risk. 

This year, along with a contribution from our insurance provider, Cigna, the team at Lokal raised almost $2,000 for Brent's Place.

While we weren't able to see any of the families and children in person this year, we are thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and we look forward to being able to see them again soon.

We love the mission of Brent's Place and Challenge Foundation and we are incredibly grateful to be able to support them, especially through these unprecedented times.
